"I have worked with J and C Sports for over two years. They have been providing Sports Coaches to support the PE Curriculum. From the outset they showed a true commitment to excellence and uplifting standards. They went beyond the call of duty by providing support wherever they could. They did this by offering new ideas and the most recent developments in Sports Coaching.
Their many strong points include lessons of the highest quality, professional coaches, strong leadership and their ability to meet regularly. Their lessons are always well planned and delivered to the highest standards. They ensure a wide range of activities that the children enjoy tremendously. Their lessons appeal to children of varying abilities and all children are engaged. They offer lessons in all three disciplines of Physical Education viz Gymnastics, Games and Dance. Needless to say, their lessons in all disciplines are outstanding.
Although they have many strong points one of them stands out worthy of comment. J and C Sports is led by an outstanding individual, the Principal. Jazz is “on the ball” he is always ahead of the game with the freshest ideas. He ensures that his coaches are qualified and their skills are updated regularly. He is great motivator and manager.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish Jazz and J and C Sports well in the future and may they grow from strength to strength"
Donald Mathray Perumal, Head of PE and Mathematics, St Ethelbert's School

"Anthony and team manager Jazz Rose delivered a taster week at Priory School earlier this term...The sports coaches planned the activities well, were well organised with the equipment, spoke to the children appropriately and motivated the children throughout the afternoon. Activities included Tag Rugby, Netball, Athletics and Hockey. The children enjoyed the activities and learnt because of the appropriate skill levels taught and high expectation of the coaches. I believe J & C Sports Academy are a very professional organisation and work well within the schools framework for delivering Physical Education"

Year 4 pupil, St John's Primary School, Harrow

"3 yrs ago, I started swimming a couple of times a week, having been an infrequent and not particularly strong swimmer previously. Having entered a couple of triathlons, I realised that the swim section was my weakest link. Recently, I asked Colin to assess and improve my technique and provide me with a training schedule with fairly little time to prepare for the next event. His observations have been astute and his approach friendly but professional.
I have just done the Windsor Supersprint Triathlon and was both shocked and delighted to come out 1st in my age group and 3rd out of 329 in the swim section. This is in no small part a result of Colin’s teaching ability. Thank you Colin!" (Re Colin Bouchard)
Swimming pupil

"I can't wait to do the Fit for Fun day again"
KS2 pupil, Allenby Primary School, Ealing

"I think that J&C Sports Academy are the best because the sessions are never boring. My lessons are every Thursday lunchtime, when Amy teaches me. I feel that she is always being kind to everyone no one is ever left out. The coaches are caring, fair and well, THEY ROCK!! All of the sessions are FANTABULAS!!!" (Re Amy Johnson)
Year 6 pupil, Blair Peach Primary School, Ealing

"To be honest sessions with Amy are one of a kind because when you play a sport with her she always makes the teams fair which is wonderful. Further more, I don't like some sports but when I join in to play I find these games fun and active. Whenever Amy or one the coaches sees someone bored or sad they will run up to you and would get you to play and make you feel better.
SO IF YOU ARE BORED JOIN J&C SPORTS ACADEMY!!!" (Re Amy Johnson)
Year 6 pupil, Blair Peach Primary School, Ealing

James Mulley - Hayes & Yeading United F.C

Winner of the International Umbro Cup, James Mulley has played over 90 games in the Blue Square South to date.

We asked James what it takes to become a professional footballer?

It takes hard-work, dedication, commitment and passion for the game. All of the key ethics that J & C Sports promote on a daily basis. I would advise children to educate themselves whilst aiming to become a top player. Train hard and the rest will follow!

I believe it is important for children to stay active to keep their body and mind stimulated, helping them to be as healthy as possible. By having high quality coaching from J & C, this allows children to learn the correct information in the best way possible allowing them to achieve their full potential quickly.

J & C Sports Academy  deliver high quality coaching and make the sessions incredibly fun for children. I miss playing football with Jazz as he is a true leader on the pitch, but I wish him all the success in leading J & C Academy to great success!

Becky Dru - Reading Hockey Club

Becky's most important game.

The Final of the Home Nations Tournament against Scotland for England U16 in 2007. We had previously beaten them 6-0 but now it was the final and a gold medal was at stake. We went 2-0 down then brought it back to 2-2 by full time. It went to penalty strokes, which we won. It shows how nothing that has gone before matters in finals in sport!

Becky has captained the Bucks U17 team to the National County
Championships in 2007. She has also played for the England U16 team

We asked Becky what it takes to become a quality hockey player?

Because hockey is a team sport, the more you are a team player the more people will respect and work hard for you. I won the respect of people much older than me by being determined and never giving up. Do not get disheartened by failure, make it spur you on to do greater things. To be a
quality player, you must take responsibility for how you play and must aim to make the person next to you look and feel good. That way, you will be the one that ultimately get noticed.

Children should want to do sport and not feel it is a chore. Being active is a cheap and extremely active way to make yourself feel better. If children grow up playing sport, there is a massive chance they will sustain this through later life, and everyone knows how important exercise is as
we grow up!

We asked Becky why she feelsl that high quality sports coaching is important for young players.

Good coaches such as those at J & C become role models for young people. Coaches are looked up to, so if children have a positive experience with a high quality coach, they are likely to strive to get better.

Jazz Rose and the coaches at J & C are leaders. J & C Sports Academy coaches are professional, enthusiastic, and are a great inspiration for children. They have the ability to get the best out of their youngsters and can motivate them to want to be active and achieve great things.

The coaches have worked hard for their reputation as some of the best quality coaches in the field, and I support them 100% in delivering high quality sports education for children and young people.

We would love to deliver 'excellence in sports development' at your school or location near you!
