Fit for Fun Campaign – Improving fitness of over 3,000 children in the run up to 2012!!!
J & C Sports Academy will be hosting a FIT for FUN campaign in a number of schools across England in Spring and Summer Term 2009. The campaign is aimed at making children fully aware of their health and taking control of improving their general health and wellbeing.
Principal of J & C Sports Academy, Jazz Rose and manager Chris Kelly will be travelling to schools all over England to record and analyse the physical endurance fitness of over 3,000 children of primary school age.
Each child involved will be asked to run, walk or jog for 12 minutes without stopping. The distance travelled by each pupil will be accurately recorded onto the Academy’s database which will be followed by a short advice and feedback session on health and Fitness for Fun. The children will perform the activity 3 times over a period of 3 months. J & C Sports Academy aim to improve the fitness of over 3,000 children this spring in the run up to 2012 Olympics
Jazz says,“Leading a healthy lifestyle through sports has always inspired me to do amazing things and I want to pass those healthy lifestyle choices onto others”
